The World Peace Forum is established as a worldwide platform to enhance the exchange of best-practice between those active in the field, i.e. peace activists and peace initiatives. This is achieved by means of workshops, publications, projects, conferences, exhibitions and virtual activities by which we carry the message of peace into daily life.

We invite all interested parties to an annual forum in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. The Forum also conducts conferences globally, carrying across the world the “Spirit of Schengen” which is the spirit of a world without borders.

General Goals and Aims of the World Peace Forum are:

• To advance the course of peace, by providing a platform for all interested parties.
• To encourage free discussion on peace issues and related matters.
• To promote the interaction of existing peace activists and organizations.
• To put peace onto the agendas of organizations and to institutionalize peace.

The World Peace Forum aims to link people and organizations, interested in building a peaceful world through international communication, such as newsletters, journals and periodic conferences. The World Peace Forum is independent, non-for-profit and educational.

A World Peace Forum conference is held once a year in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Furthermore local conferences are hosted by national organizations worldwide.
