Follow Vegetarian Diet or
Follow Vegetarian Diet or make changes in Meat based diets-
I follow VEGETARIAN DIET proudly as meat based diet has a much higher, around 36 percent, water footprint than vegetarian diets.
Oh! Don’t be discouraged; friends who have a meat based diet can also reduce their water footprint by being more selective in their choice of meat as some animals require less water to produce meat.

At age 76 I look back on 60
At age 76 I look back on 60 years of eating exclusively vegetarian food. Most meals are based on plant foods, which is better for health, the planet and animals.
When I took this pledge, I didn't realise what a fantastic life it would lead to. Basing my life on whole natural foods whenever possible means that I have had few health problems. I am free from any permanent aches and pains and do not take any drugs or medicines regularly.
I will try to promote this special day 11/11/11 as a plantarian day in my local town of Portsmouth and further afield.
Reducing meat and refined foods and buying vegetarian meals whenever possible, eating natural vegan foods if available, exercising regularly, resting and sleeping at reasonable times should ensure that you obtain the best health for yourself.
If you commit youself to a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet, ensuring that you learn how to plan a balanced regime, you could be as 'lucky' as me. You'll certainly live well and quite likely live a long and healthy life as well.
Lots of scientific research shows the advantages of a wholesome vegetarian diet. Statistics show that we are less likely to get serious health problems like cancer and heart problems. That means less pain and disability. Give it a try!
Keep off the booze and fags as well!!

Please help double the number
Please help double the number of people eating a plantarian diet. If everyone of their friends just encourages just one friend to commit to being plantarian for 24 hours on 1:11:11 then we can double the number. Please send a Happy One World Day Birthday card to your mates and encourage them to pledge

If you eat properly, you
If you eat properly, you won't die of anemia! I'm nearly 21, I went vegetarian when I was 10, and I've been vegan for over 2 years now too. I get blood tests once a year, and I've never once had lack of iron or any other vitamin. My doctor even informed me that I'm healthier then most meat eaters or anyone else that goes into her. Check your facts before you make any rude statements like that again

as a vegan, i've become a much healthier person. if you eat wisely and make sure that you get the proper nutrition, it is very possibly to live a prosperous and healthy life while staying away from animal products.
